VISTA LIC HOTEL, PREMIER COLLECTION BY BEST WESTERN, New York – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet, but not ready until late afternoon due to a late check-out, leaving me waiting in the lobby. The power plugs were greasy with food deposits from the previous guest, which was a bit off-putting. The service was very attentive and helpful, making my stay enjoyable, but somewhat non-professional. The location was convenient for reaching Manhattan quickly, close to the subway, but the neighborhood was transitioning which affected access to nearby amenities. The dining experience was good and delicious, although at times limited.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although the furniture was a little dusty. Having a common door to connect with the other room was convenient. The service was exceptional, especially at the roof bar, where the staff were extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. The location was ideal for reaching my destinations, just two subway stations away from Manhattan, but it could get a bit dangerous to walk to the subway at certain times. The dining experience varied from terrible in the cafe to excellent in the Sky Lounge. The facilities were decent, offering a mix of convenient amenities.
